Touring & Camping Pitches
We offer three types of pitch both of which are on grass for
your caravanning or camping hoilday.
Fully Serviced Pitches
These pitches have a 16 amp electrical hook
up point, drinking water tap & drainage point for shower or sink water, the pitches are suitable for units up to 7 metres
wide.
Semi Serviced Pitches
These
pitches have a 10 Amp electrical hook up point. Drinking water is at shared tap points located around the site, the pitches
are suitable for units up to 6 metres wide.
Standard Pitches
These marked
grass pitches and are suitable for units up to 6 metres wide.
Useful info
- BBQ's allowed (disposable are allowed as long as they do not burn the grass). Sorry No
camp fires.
- Parking in front of Tent / Caravan etc.
- Play
area.
- All water taps on the site are drinking water (except for taps at the chemical disposal points & inside the facilities buildings).
- Television reception has switched to digital.
- The mobile phone signal isn't great
on the site, but once you drive up the road towards Weymouth you will get a good signal.
- The
nearest shop is approx 2.5 miles away in the village of Abbotsbury.
Camping Field Toilets, Showers & Wash up Room
In addition to the main
toilet block we also provide toilets, showers & wash up room in portable buildngs on the touring & camping field.
so you can choose which facilities you would like to use.
