Golden sands of Weymouth
6.5 miles from the site

The hardy monument is an ideal way to get a view of Dorset  and it's unique and spectular coastline.
Abbotsbury is a must with it's world famous swannery, sub tropical garden's and tithe barn with children's play centre, the village it's self is very pretty with a wide range of craft shops and tea rooms to tempt you.
St catherines chapel is a pleasant stroll and on the way back you have to walk past the shop so why not have an ice cream!

The Great Dorset maize maze is also a great day out with it's very varied activities your'll be lost in adventure all day!

The kings arms is just 350 yards away so why cook, you can eat and have a drink in comfort while the children play in the large garden.

For the sportsman the sea fishing along the coast is excellent.
These places are only a couple of miles away making them a pleasant walk or cycle ride for the adventurous, or a short drive for the less ambitious.

Weymouth

Well where to begin the beach with it's beautiful golden sands that are safe for children play and swim. 
The attractions and Eateries are endless
the sand sculptures are amazing and the fair rides and trampoline are always a hit with the kids.

 Brewers quay is also a lovely place to go as you feel like you are going back in time as you walk along the cobbled streets and the shops are very interesting.

Portland
is a very rugged place you can visit the light house and scramble over the rocks looking for fossils enjoying the sea and surrounding coastline in it's rawest form.
The Jussasic coastline the best view is coming down the hill from the top of Portland you can nearly see the whole of the chesil beach it is absolutely breathtaking
Deep sea adventure is a good option if it's raining as it's under cover.
